Dark gray, polygonal and smooth irregular particles produced by fusing and crushing with W and WC. WC and W₂C have a feathery eutectic structure with high melting point, high hardness and excellent wear resistance.

Mainly used for producing Pta Welding Powder, Laser Cladding Powder, PDC drill body materials, hard alloy wear-resistant welding materials and etc., suitable for infiltration, spraying welding), PTA welding process, laser cladding process and other Thermal Spray Coating like Flame Spray Coating.

As hard phase, the hardness of cast tungsten carbide can achieve 2200 HV0.3. Blend with Ni alloy powder, can form PTA or Laser cladding powder which are a widely used surface engineering process for various industries like Marine, Mining, Steel, Oil&gas etc.
